It's Monday morning and what better outfit to wear than one that makes you feel important and kind of powerful. Powerful in the sense of you feel your own best self. Sometimes I put on an outfit and I feel comfy, or smart. When I put this blouse on together with this midi skirt and boots I feel confident in myself. It's definitely to do with the heel on the boot - why do heels make us feel more confident?!

This blouse is a current favourite, if you've been around here for a while it's a known fact I love a stripe, in fact; I can't go a week without wearing a stripe top (wore one yesterday actually!). So when you team a stripe with an oversized shape blouse AND you add floral embroidery I am completely sold. I love how feminine the embroidery makes the otherwise quite masculine blouse. I got this skirt years ago from H&M and it was literally £10 (maybe less) but it's a total staple in my wardrobe. The boots were in the previous post and they're from Topshop (last year, available online now). Considering the heel height they are surprisingly comfortable. Finally on to the bag, you will see a lot of this little bag over the next few months as I'm kinda obsessed with it. It was £15.99 from Zara so super duper cheap but it's a nice little addition to an outfit, it also means I don't carry every single thing I own around with my on a daily basis which my back is very grateful for.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I spent mine in Bristol with my family. We went to see 'the boy with tape on his face' on Saturday night which I would highly recommend if you can still gets tickets - a very very funny commedian who if the name didn't give it away spends the whole act with tape over his mouth whilst still managing to make you cry laugh. Then yesterday I did a 10 mile run with my mum - we have the Cardiff half marathon on Sunday so I am at the final stages of my training (ARGH!). And we finished the weekend of perfectly with a lovely Sunday roast at a local pub in Bristol. I'm starting Monday feeling very happy and positive.
